Bio

Funeral Mass for Estelle Palmer of Levelland will be at 2 p.m., Monday at St. Michael's Catholic Church with the Rev. Martin Pina, Pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in City of Levelland Cemetery under direction of George Price Funeral Home. Mrs. Palmer died Friday, May 6, 2005 at her residence. She was under the care of Vista Care Hospice. Estelle was born in Bosque County and moved to Pep as a child. She married M.G. Palmer Jan. 14, 1941 in Clovis, N.M. She moved to Levelland in 1938 from Pep. M.G. died Nov. 10, 1968. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Bertha Gerik, and two brothers, Al Gerik and Ray Gerik. She co-owned and operated the Levelland Motel for 29 years and was also co-owner of Palmer's Cleaners. She was a founding member of St. Michael's Catholic Church and a member of St. Mary's Altar Society. Estelle is survived by three sons, five daughters, three brothers, a sister, twelve grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. LubbockOnline.com
