LEESVILLE DAILY LEADER - Sunday, December 1, 1996 Funeral services for Troy James, 67, of Cravens were held Saturday, Nov. 30, in Gravel Hill Baptist Church in Cravens with the Rev. Charles Cooper officiating. Burial followed in Gravel Hill Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin Funeral Home of Pitkin. He died Thursday, Nov. 28, in his home in Cravens. He was a native and lifelong resident of Cravens, a heavy equipment operator and owner of Troy James Sand and Gravel Company. Survivors include his mother, Lottie Deason James of Cravens; two sons, Jimmy James and David James, both of Cravens; two daughters, Linda Pelt and Bonnie Schilling, both of Cravens; one brother, Woodrow James of Cravens; two sisters, Opal Lambright of Pitkin and Ocielea Maricle of Cravens, and seven grandchildren.
