Nellie Van Nortwick, Rialto Nellie M. Van Nortwick, 84, of 115 S. Olive St., Rialto, died Sunday in a Rialto hospital. She was born in Nebraska and was a 25-year resident of Rialto and a 35 year resident of California. Mrs. Van Nortwick was a retired teacher of the Custer County, Neb., school system. She was a member of the Rialto Senior Citizens Club and the First Christian Church of Rialto. Survivors include three brothers, Elmer 0. and Orien H. Daggett, both of Nebraska, and Clay J. Daggett of Wisconsin, and three sisters, Mrs. Dollie Ross of Nebraska, Mrs. Neville Johnston and Mrs. Geraldine Milor, both of Rialto. Services will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow at First Christian Church, Rialto. Burial will be in Rialto Park Cemetery with Ralph Wm. Allen Funeral Home in charge. Friends may call at the chapel after noon today. She had one daughter and one son with Bert J Waddington on June 28, 1905. Sometime after 1930 she married George W Van Nortwick. She died on January 17, 1971, at the age of 84.
