Clifton M. Peacock , 72, of Thorndale passed away Tuesday, October 16, 2007 at Scott & White Hospital in Temple. Visitation will be 6-8 PM, Thursday, October 18, 2007 at Providence Funeral Home. Celebration of Life Services will be 2 PM, Friday, October 19, 2007 at Providence Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Taylor City Cemetery. Clifton was born June 22, 1935 to Harley and Ardie Mae (Lindemann) Peacock in Bartlett, Texas. He was a very strong wonderful loving father, papa, uncle, and friend. He was a truck driver for 18 years. Clifton retired from Alcoa after 35 years. He battled with cancer for over a year and fought an amazing fight. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Gloria Peacock, son, Cliff H. Peacock, and a brother, William Peacock. Clifton is survived by his daughters, Carla Peacock and Frank Gaddison and Cheryl Peacock and Shane Hoffman; three grandsons, Cory Peacock, Tanner Hoffman, and Dalton Robertson; a granddaughter, Cayle Peacock and Ruben Avila; great-granddaughter, Arianna Avila and another great-granddaughter on the way, Alise Avila; sister, Gloria Karkoska. Pallbearers will be David Karkoska, Dennis Karkoska, Marshal Karkoska, Billy Peacock, Keith Caffey, Ruben Avila, and Frank Gaddison.
