Bio

Daisy Mae Stevens, age 87 of Belvidere, passed away on Friday, July 24, 2020 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Stevens was born on August 30, 1932 in Jackson County, Alabama to the late Dick and Ethel Guess Clark. She was a devoted wife and mother that loved her family dearly. She was a member of the Keith Springs Mountain Church of Jesus, and loved to sing in the church and at Hardees. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husbands, Loyd Sanders and R.L. Stevens; son, Billy Wayne Sanders; stepsons, Fred Stephens and Cordell Stephens; siblings, John Thomas Clark, Wilson Clark, Joe Clark, Bud Henry Clark, Lula Breecia, Betty Lou Clark; and daughter in law, Donna Sanders. Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. on Monday, July 27, 2020 at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, July 28, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Moore-Cortner Funeral Home with Bro. Harold Steele officiating.
