Bio

Husband of Emma Stansberry From the June 2, 1949 Gotebo Record: Jackson Asberry Coulter was born in Henderson Co. TX, July 17, 1879 and died May 27 at the Hobart hospital. Mr. Coulter came to Greer Co. when he was 14 years old and in 1892 he came to Washita Co. and spent most of his life in this vicinity. He was married Dec. 10, 1893 to Emma Stansberry and six children were born to this union. Two of the children, William and Florence, preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife; four daughters, Mrs. Edna Roberson of Tecumseh, Mrs. Carrie Dever of Clayton NM, Mrs. Alta Wallin of Westerfield NJ and Mrs. Dollie McCollough of Enid; four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; one sister, Kitty Marrow of Bradford CA and one brother, Dee of Carnegie.
