Bio

Otis F. Hoffman was born March 31, 1909, in rural Tremont to John and Edith Fornoff Hoffman, he married Florence L. Shay on Dec. 2, 1938, in Delavan. She died April 14, 1997. Surviving are three sons, Walter, and H.Wayne (and Verbie) and Wendal (and Christine); a daughter, Rosemary Petrone; one sister Bessie Banks; ten grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by five brothers and three sisters. He worked for Caterpillar, Inc. in East Peoria for more than 37 years, retiring in 1971, He was a member of Delavan Baptist Church.
