Bio

Jerry Don Reese, 62, a lifetime resident of Waco, passed away Monday, Aug. 27, at a local hospital. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 30, at Pecan Grove Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Steve Oates officiating. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, Waco. Jerry was the son of the late Milton Homer and Lillian Pauline (Johnson) Reese. He was a mechanic all of his working life. His passion was fishing. He was preceded in death by three brothers; and three sisters. Survivors include his daughters, Tonya Elaine Sanchez and her husband, Gilbert, of Robinson, Kendall Marie Reese, of Fort Worth, and Lori Ann Reese, of Robinson; grandchildren, Jared, Blake, Ashley, Amber, Shelby, and Clay; sisters, Betty Starling, of Waco, June Horton, of Aquilla, and Verlon Reese, of Waco; brother, Larry Reese, of Robinson; and many other family members and friends.
