Walter Miller of St.John's Lutheran officiated. Condra Funeral Home, Taylor, in charge of arrangements. He was BORN 1/12/1928 and owner of Rodenbeck Farm & Ranch in Thorndale. He had been named Thorndale's Outstanding Citizen by the Thorndale Chamber of Commerce in 1970. Member of VFW Post 4009, a U.S. Army veteran and FFA Honorary Chapter Farmer. Member of St.John's Lutheran Church of Thorndale. SURVIVORS: Wife, Mary Ann Rodenbeck of Thorndale; son, Roger Rodenbeck of Thorndale; daughter & son-in-law, Starla & David Hall of Taylor; brother, Marvin Rodenbeck of Thorndale; 6 sisters, Ruth Hennig of Manor, Lorene Moehnke of Taylor, Katy Mikus of Waco, Margaret Thaler of Bartlett, Frances Miller of Austin and Carol Glenn of Corpus Christi; father-in-law, Henry Sielaff of Thorndale.
