STUTTS, W. H. "Pate" of Rockdale. Age 79. Died 1/27/1977 (Thursday) in Richards Memorial Hospital after a long illness. Services held (Sat.) in Phillips & Luckey Chapel. Burial in IOOF Cemetery, Rockdale. Rev. Weldemar Wendle and Minister Charles Wilson officiated. He was BORN 9/7/1897 in Milam County to M/M. William H. Stutts. Had lived all his life in and around Rockdale. He was a retired oil field employee and carpenter. Married Miss Bessie Brockenbush in Rockdale in 1924. He was preceded in death by 3 sisters and a brother. SURVIVORS: Wife, Mrs. Bessie Stutts of Rockdale; 4 sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Jackson of Milano, Mrs. Roxie Roznas of Temple, Mrs. Effie Franks of Giddings and Mrs. Emma Janicek of Buckholts.
