Tom Fox Tom Fox, 81 years old, a pioneer resident of Pettis county, passed away at a convalescent home yesterday in Sedalia. He had been ill three weeks and at the home since last Friday. He was born in Pettis county and spent the greater part on a farm north of Smithton. He lived with a brother Will Fox and a sister, Miss Mae Fox. - Sedalia Democrat - Friday, September 12, 1940 pg.5 ---------------------------------------------- Info from death cert. Son of John Fox and Elizabeth Rutledge. Single. Aged 81 yrs, 3 mons, 2 days. Buried in Smithton Sept. 11, 1940.
