Jerry Keith Kendall 1930 - 2020 VETERAN Early Life: Jerry was born November 18, 1930, in Provo, Utah, to Kenneth Floyd and Amelia Bowles Kendall. Life's Work | Service | Interests: He served in the Korean War from 1951 to 1953. Following his service, Jerry dedicated over 30 years to work as an electrician for Provo City Power. He married the love of his life, Lila Payne, on September 10, 1954, in the Salt Lake Temple. Together, they welcomed seven children into the world. As a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Jerry served in many different capacities, including serving a mission with his wife in Des Moines, Iowa. Jerry Keith Kendall, beloved brother, husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully in his home on the morning of June 19, 2020. He was 89. Survived By: His wife, Lila; children: Dean (Michelle), Deborah (Claude), Diana (Steve), Denise (Dave), Dan (Cathi), Dalene (Jeff), and Dawnell (Kevin); sister, Shirley Hendry; brother, Dick Kendall; 23 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren and one on the way.
