Bio

Lillian Marie Schwenke, 82, of Coupland passed away Thursday, February 22, 2007 at the Trinity Care Center in Round Rock. Visitation will be 6-7 pm and the Rosary will be 7 PM Monday, February 26, 2007 at Providence Funeral Home. Celebration of Life Mass will be 10 AM Tuesday, February 27, 2007 at St. Mary s Catholic Church with Msgr. Lonnie Urban and Re. John Sumner officiating. Burial will follow at St. Peter s Cemetery in Coupland. Lillian was born in Taylor June 19, 1924 to Anton F. and Annie (Vaculin) Kaspar. Lillian was a member of many organizations such as: KJZT, Catholic Daughters of America, St. Ann s Altar Society, the Coupland Community Club, and Ladies Auxiliary VFW. She was the President of the Coupland School PTA at one time. Lillian was a charter member and past president of the Johns Community Hospital Ladies Auxiliary and charter member of the 42 Club. She was an Avon sales representative for 30 years. Lillian was also well known for her Hungarian coffee cakes. Lillian was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William Schwenke; brothers, Ludvik, Henry, and Anton Kaspar; sisters, Margaret Todd, Elsie Strmiska, and Ann Weaver. She is survived by her daughter, Anna Marie Wolbrueck and husband, David of Round Rock; granddaughter, Kristel Wolbrueck of Round Rock; two sisters, Mary Nelson and husband, Neils of California and Georgia Welch of Killeen. Pallbearers are Anthony Kaspar, Milton Kaspar, Ken Schwenke, Tom Schwenke, Bill Weaver, Tom Weaver and Bobby Welch. Honorary pallbearers will be member of the 42 Club of Coupland. Memorials may be made to St. Mary s Catholic Church or to St. Peter s Church in Coupland.
