Angeline Sladecek, 81, of Granger passed away Saturday, March 10, 2007 at the Will-O-Bell Nursing Home in Bartlett. Rosary Services will be 7 PM Tuesday, March 13, 2007 at Providence Funeral Home in Taylor, Tx. Celebration of Life Mass will be Wednesday, March 14, 2007 at SS. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church in Granger with Fr. Joseph Nisari and Fr. Emilian Foltyn officiating. Burial will follow at the Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery. Angeline was born on May 18, 1925 in Corn Hill to John and Mary (Kubacak) Cmerek. She was the youngest of 6 brothers and sisters. Angeline was married to Edward Sladecek on March 1, 1949 at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Corn Hill. She was a member of SS. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church, the KJZT, and the SPJST. Angeline loved gardening and fishing. She was preceded in death by her husband Edward Sladecek. Angeline is survived by her brother, August R. Cmerek and wife, Dorine of Miles, TX.; brother-in-law, Frank Pekar and wife Evelyn of Granger, sister-in-law, Evelyn Pekar and husband, Frank of Granger TX and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial donations may be made to the SS. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church.
