Lydia Wolbrueck, 90, formerly of Granger, died March 27, 2007 in Caldwell, Texas. The Rosary will be 7 PM Thursday, March 29, 2007 at Providence Funeral Home. Celebration of Life Mass will be 10 AM Friday, March 30, 2007 at SS. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church with Fr. Joseph Nisari officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Taylor. Lydia was born on March 27,1917 in Williamson County to John and Frances (Pisklak) Balusek. She was married to Carl Wolbrueck on November 17, 1939 and was blessed by two sons. They were together 65 years before he passed away. She was a life-long resident of Williamson County. Lydia was an artistic person who like to sew, do crafts, and was inclined to draw. She also loved her flowers. Lydia was also very faithful and religious person. She was also soft spoken with a sense of humor and loved to laugh. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Carl Wolbrueck; three sisters, Hattie Benight, Sybil Kemble, and Aggie Cazier. Lydia is survived by her sons, James Wolbrueck and wife, Pegi and Clarence Collin Wolbrueck and wife, Darlene; grandchildren, Randall Wolbrueck, Janet Kosh and husband, Kris, Jackie Almond and husband, David, and Monica Martinka; great-grandchildren, Benjamin Martinka, Elizabeth Martinka, Sara H. Martinka, Grace Martinka, and Kelly Almond. Pallbearers will be Randall Wolbrueck, Kris Kosh, Benjamin Martinka, Kevin Makal, Andy Miller, and Edmond Lefner. Memorial may be made to SS.
