Bio

Ruth F. Kurtz, 90, was a daughter of Joseph W. and Louise Snyder Fairbanks. She married Howard Dwight Kurtz on April 26, 1931 at Keokuk, Iowa. He died April 28, 1974. She was also preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Margaret Sylvester. She is survived by one son, David F. (Carla) Kurtz, one daughter, Barbara (Tom) White; five grandchildren; two step-grandchildren and one great-grandson. Mrs. Kurtz was a member of St. John's Catholic Church, Bellflower, and the Altar and Rosary Society. She was a member of the Bellflower Historical and Genealogical Society and of the Bellflower Needlecraft Club. Published Pantagraph, The (Bloomington, IL) - March 20, 2000
