Bio

Kennith Lee Brand was born in Keota, Oklahoma on May 18, 1940 to Chester Leroy and Ruby Lee (Richardson) Brand. He passed away in Fort Smith, Arkansas on May 23, 2020 at the age of 80. He is survived by: His wife, Rosanna (Smith) Brand, of the home His children: Claude Brand and wife, Kelly, of Keota, OK Doug Brand and wife, Vanessa, of Keota, OK Kennith Brand, Jr. and wife, Jeanette, of Spiro, OK Becky Sloan and husband, Rocky, of Keota, OK He enjoyed 10 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews Kennith was preceded in death by his parents, Chester and Ruby Brand and two brothers, Richard Brand and J.N. Brand. Kennith worked as Water Superintendent in Keota for 28 years and was the Assistant Fire Chief for 20 years. He married the love of his life, Rosanna, in 1964. Viewing will be held at Mallory Chapel in Keota on Tuesday, May 26 from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm. Graveside services will be held at Keota City Cemetery on Wednesday, May 27, 2020 at 10:00 am with Rev. Jack Sloan officiating. Interment under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory of Stigler.
