Richard Burton Armstrong 86, peacefully went to be with his Lord and Savior at his home on October 27, 2019, in Conroe, Texas surrounded by his loved ones. He is preceded in death by his parents, Richard Brooks Armstrong Jr. and Elizabeth Armstrong; brothers: James and Ray Armstrong; sisters: Annie Lee and Doris Armstrong; wives: Laverne Watson, Patsy Barber and Franciel Armstrong and his "buddy" Allen Reynolds. Burton was raised in Carthage, Texas, and served in Korea for the U.S Army in 1950-1953. He returned home and then started his family and carpentry. He enjoyed reading his Bible until he lost his vision, then listened on a recorder. He loved church, family, westerns, Clint Eastwood and John Wayne movies, fried fish, grits and toast, telling jokes, and he really enjoyed people. Mainly if they would sit and mess a bit, he would say. He also loved his granddaughters dog "Benny", his baby or Lil Buddy. Contributor: KD Burleson (48596905)
