Son of James Franklin and Carrie Leona (Ball) Sturdivant. Marriage: Sarah J. "Sallie" Robertson on June 29, 1912, recorded in Union County, Arkansas. Marriage: Norine Ragsdale on December 08, 1944, recorded in Wharton County, Texas. -------------- Funeral services for James E. Sturdivant, 63, of 903 Elizabeth, who died in a local hospital yesterday, will be held tomorrow in Cage-Mills Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Jerrel Gaddy, pastor of Morgan Avenue Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in Seaside Memorial Park. Sturdivant had been a resident here for the past 22 years and was in the real estate business. He was a member of Morgan Avenue Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Norine; a son, James A. of Eldorado, Ark.; three daughters, Mrs. Elton W. Archer of Tyler, Mrs. J. L. Pollan of Abilene, and Mrs. John L. Bell of Eldorado; four brothers, Frank of Strong, Ark., George of Urbana, Ark., John of Columbia, Miss., and Floyd of Crossett, Ark.; two sisters, Mrs. J. M. Wood of Eldorado, and Mrs. W. M. Stevens of Urbana, and 10 grandchildren. Corpus Christi Times, Texas, dated February 02, 1959
