Bio
Homer was the son of Samuel W. and Angie (Powell)Wright. He was born in Sullivan and married Grace Reimund 1/4/1909.They had 2 children. Grace passed away and is buried in Sullivan Illinois. He remarried to Blanche Grisby.Orlando Sentinel Star, Thursday Aug 30, 1972 Attorney H W Wright Dies at 85 Mr. Homer W Wright, 85, 3000 Cullen Lake Shore Drive, an Orlando attorney for 44 Years died Wednesday. A native of Sullivan, Ill. He came to Orlando from There in 1928. He was senior Member of the law firm of Whitfield, Wright, Leonhardt & Trickel. He attended the university of Illinois and was admitted to the Illinois bar in 1910. Mr. Wright was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Orlando and was song leader for the church's Wesleyan Men's Bible class many years. He was a 58 year Mason, a Shriner and a member of the Country Club of Orlando, Dubstread Country Club and the Orange County and FLorida Bar associations. Survivors include daughter Mr George W Mitchell Jr, Orlando, and Mrs William F Thompson, New Wilmington Pa. Brothers Ed Wright, Norwood NY and James Wright Sullivan, Ill. Sisters Mr T H Finley Belleville, Ill, and Mrs Walter Potter of California. Nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Funeral arrangements are incomplete, Carey Hand Chapel
