Bio
Born at his parents home, William J. and Bertha Fage Ash, in Orem, Utah, Jess F. Ash completed his earthly existence at his home surrounded his loving family. He married Enid B. Fausett June 30, 1947. The marriage was solemnized in the Manti Utah LDS Temple July 2, 1963. Together they raised three children at their home in Orem. An active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, he loved the land and enjoyed working on the farm. His passion also included fishing, hunting, gardening and play sports for Pleasant Grove High School. He retired from Geneva Steel after 28 years. His loving wife and children: Connie Hansen, Larry J. (Carolyn) Ash, and Cindy (Gary) Taylor; brother, Verland J. Ash; 11 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and 3 great, great grandchildren survive. His parents, sister Neva Downs, son-in-law Gary Lynn Hansen, one grandson and three great, grandchildren predeceased Jess.
