Melvin "Mel" Eugene Cooke, ninety-one years of age, passed away on May 22, 2021 at his residence. He was born on February 2, 1930, in Dallas, Texas, to Lucille Collingsworth Cooke and Robert Cooke. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War and worked for Boeing Aircraft for many years until his retirement. He moved to Tool, Texas in 1991. He was preceded in death by his parents,: his wife Ollivia Brynt Cooke; sister, Joanne Cooke; and brother, Norman Dale Cooke. He is survived by cousins Wendell, Stacy, Billy Joe, and Ralph Cooke and their families; and his companion, Sara Hall.
