Bio
Tom, 68, of Bruno, passed away from complications due to Parkinson's at his home surrounded by family on July 24, 2015. Memorials: Family Wishes Tom was born April 29, 1947 to Henry and Mary(Slavik) Weverka in David City. He was the 3rd generation to grow up on the farm near Bruno. Tom graduated from the Nebraska School for the Deaf, in Omaha, in 1966. On February 8, 1969 he was united in marriage to Fauneil Danekas at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, in Brainard. Tom and Faun have been members of Holy Trinity since 1969. Tom enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, wood working, and giving hair cuts to the guys. He was a very social person, and loved his family, friends, and his dog, Bella. He is survived by his wife of 46 years: Faun, of Bruno; daughter: Tami Benes, of Brainard; siblings: Jim (Rose) Weverka, of Lincoln, Norm (Karen) Weverka, of Brainard, Henry (Marilyn) Weverka, of Omaha, and Geri (Leon) Jakub, of Brainard; 4 grandchildren: Tasha (Garrett) Rubendall, Kalley Parker, Zach Parker, and Tori Ratkovec; 1 great-grandson: Kaiden Case; and several nieces, nephews, and friends. Tom is preceded in death by his parents; daughter: Toni Prochaska; and grandsons: Dustin Benes, and Brent Benes. ∼ ***************************************
