Barbara was the daughter of John and Anna (Jura) Vesely. She married John Pickhinke 12 Oct. 1926 at St. John's Nepomucene Catholic Church, Howells, Colfax County, Nebraska. Per obit The Schuyler Sun; Schuyler, Colfax County, Nebraska; 18 May 1995 p 18 c3 Barbara was born in rural Howells, Nebraska. She farmed with her husband John on a farm near Howells from 1926-1976, when they moved to Schuyler, Colfax County, Nebraska. Barbara resided in Schuyler until 1984 when she moved to Dodge, Dodge County, Nebraska were she resided at Parkview Nursing Home where she died 2 May 1995.
