Bio
Ed L. Hoesing, 95 years, of Fremont, NE passed away Wednesday, April 8, 2020 at his home in Fremont. Ed was born May 23, 1924 to Antone and Bertha (Webb) Hoesing in Fordyce, NE. He attended grade school in Fordyce and graduated from Holy Trinity School in Hartington, NE. After graduation, he served in the U.S. Army. On April 28, 1952, he married Marie Marushak at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Fremont. Ed worked as a regional manager for Hydro Conduit Corp and retired after 42 years of service. Ed enjoyed taking care of his garden and flowers. He was a great woodworker. There were always projects or remodels that kept Ed busy over the years. He was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church. He is survived by daughters, Susanne (Max Jr.) Woods, Sherrie (Jerry) Peek, and Sandy (Blase) Biga; son, Steve (Rita) Hoesing; 7 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren and 2 more on the way. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marie; infant daughter, Katherine; parents; four sisters and one brother. Due to the current Covid-19 situation, memorial mass will be held at a later date. Visitation will start 5 PM Sunday, April 12, 2020 with a rosary to follow at 6 PM at Moser's. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery in Fremont
