He is the son of Enoch Fletcher Maples and Martha Alva Parkhill Maples. He first married Della Harnoon on August 20, 1893 in Hunt County, Texas. They had one known daughter: Lillie (1896-1897). He then married Bessie Mitchell on Aug 3, 1902 in Hunt County, Texas. 1900 Census: He was living in Justice, Hunt, Texas with his parents. He was widowed. He was a farmer. He could read and write. Interment is unknown. Any help is appreciated.
