Bio
Mrs.Nina Cummins,76 of Sullivan died at 1:20 pm Thursday March 31 in St.Marys hospital. She was born Oct.1, 1889 in Moultrie county the daughter of Charles and Sarah Conger Drew. Her husband James C. Cummins,preceded her in death,Oct 28,1948.She was a member of Crystal Chapter O.E.S.,the Sullivan country Club, Sew-a-Bit club and the D.S.Club. Mrs.Cummins is survived by two sons,Charles of Chicago and James of Sulliivan,one daughter Mrs. Bernice Callow of Atlanta,Ga,one brother, Frank Drew of Decatur,three sisters,Mrs.Hazel Schroeder of Warrensburg, Mrs.Cora Beals and Miss Ruth Drew,both of Sullivan and eight grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 2 pm Saturday,April 2, in the McMullin Funeral home with the Rev. Vel Luce conducting. Burial was in Greenhill cemetery.
