Bio

James Calvin Cartwright, my Great Great Grandfather was born April 1848 in Rusk County Texas. 1875 At age 27, James married Nancy Louvena Woods in 1875. They settled in Lorenzo, back in Crosby County, where they lived until their deaths. James is listed as a one of several founders of the Olive Branch Cemetery Wise County Texas. They had six children, three sons and three daughters. James parents were Lemuel and Nancy Mount Cartwright of Wise County Texas.
