Bio
Eddie Lyle Grudzinski, 60, of Orem, Utah, passed away April 20, 2004 as a result of renal failure and complications of diabetes. He was born July 25, 1943 in Medford, Oregon to Edmund Paul and Lola Grace Gardner Grudzinski. He was raised in South San Gabriel, California by his mother and step-father, Howard O. Myers. He graduated from BYU in 1968 with a degree in Youth Leadership. He was employed by the Boy Scouts of America in Nevada and California for 10 years prior to returning to Utah to start his own business. He later worked for the American Lung Association promoting smoking cessation clinics. Eddie married Carrol Neil on March 20, 1965. They are the parents of four children. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and especially enjoyed working with the youth. He was preceded in death by his parents and step-father. The family wishes to extend a special thanks to the many doctors, nurses and staff of Davita Dialysis Center and UVRMC who cared for Eddie over the past several years. Graveside services will be held Friday, April 23, 2004 at 11:30 a.m. in the Orem City Cemetery, 1520 North 800 East, Orem. A viewing will be held Friday morning from 10 to 11:00 a.m. at the Walker Sanderson Funeral Home, 646 East 800 North, Orem prior to going to the cemetery.
