From The Deseret News (Salt Lake City, UT) - Thursday, June 27, 2013: Wayne Hansen 1934 ~2013 St. George, Utah - Born in Fort Hall, Idaho, to Henry Joseph Hansen and Erma Josephine Brown, second youngest of eleven children. Graduated from South High School in 1952. Served in U.S. Air Force from 1954 to 1956. After farming and helping his family in Idaho, Wayne came to Utah, where he became a very successful contractor and business owner. Married Sylvia Louise Smith in 1963, later divorced. Married Lori Walker Deverall in 1972, and shared nearly 35 years of hard work, some tears and immense love for each other. Wayne loved taking his children boating and fishing, and going on romantic get-aways with the love of his life, Lori. He was a cherished friend to many who knew him. We will miss you dearly Dad! Survived by his sisters; Eva Kelly, Sheryl Pittman and Rosalee Billman, children; Cory (Karen) Hansen, Michelle (Tim) Timmerman, Roger Hansen, Layne Hansen and Sharon (Erik) Hansen, 10 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, step-children; Garth (Judy) Deverall, Craig (Nanette) Deverall, Cindy Deverall, Bill (Paulee) Deverall and many step grandchildren who adored him. Preceded in death by his parents and siblings Keith, Irene, Clinton, Selby, Dallas (Red), Violet and Betty; also by his wife, Lori, and dear companion Bonita Allgood. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, June 29, 2013 at 1:30 pm, Jenkins-Soffe South Valley, 1007 W. So. Jordan Parkway (10600 So.) A Viewing will be held from 12:30 to 1:15 pm prior to the services. Interment Mtn. View Memorial Estates.
