Bio
Eva Doraine Kelly, 98, passed away Sunday, January 18, 2015 at her home from natural causes. Eva was born on August 5, 1916 to Henry Joseph Hansen and Erma Josephine Brown in Provo, Utah. She was the oldest girl of 11 children. She attended 1st through 8th grade at Fort Hall Elementary and later received her GED. She lived in Pocatello until her death. Eva married Howard Edwin Rogerson on August 28, 1936. Together they had 5 children, Bonnie Eloise (Harold) Luker, Jerry Edwin (Cathi) Rogerson, Carol Ann (Dwight) Millward, Betty Elaine Rogerson, and Nancy Ina (Jason) Stinger. She later married Theodore Kelly in December 1969. Eva worked at Kraft Cheese, an upholstery shop, and at ISU in the Maintenance Department. She enjoyed writing class at the Senior Citizens Center. She is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Eva loved her family and grandchildren. She loved the outdoors, camping, campfires and having a good guitar and harmonica session. She also treasured her sewing abilities taught to her by her mother which in turn she tried to pass on to her daughters. Eva is survived by her children, Jerry of Washington, Carol, and Nancy both of Idaho. She was preceded in death by her ex-husband, Howard Edwin Rogerson, husband, Theodore Kelly; 2 daughters, Betty Elaine Rogerson, Bonnie Eloise Luker; 3 grandchildren, Brian Grant Millward, Jennifer Ann Stinger, Arva Lyn Luker; and all but two sisters. Funeral services will be Thursday, January 22, 2015 at 11 AM at the LDS Church, 12146 Tyhee Road, (corner of Moonglow & Tyhee) Pocatello, Idaho 83202 with a viewing for one hour prior to services at the church. A viewing will also be held on Wednesday, January 21, 2015 from 6-8 PM at Colonial Funeral Home 2005 S. 4th Ave. Pocatello, ID 208-233-1500. Burial will follow at Restlawn Memorial Gardens, 2864 S. 5th Ave. Pocatello, Idaho 83204
