Bio

American Revolutionary War Veteran. Served multiple enlistments from 1775 to 1781 with the Connecticut militia Enlisted as a private with Capt. Thomas Holmes' company, LtCol Oliver Smith's 8th Connecticut Militia Regiment from 8 Sep 1776 to 17 Nov 1776. Marched to New Haven and served around King's Bridge, New Rochelle and Throg's Point. Saw action at the Battle of White Plains. Re-enlisted as a corporal Apr 1777 and served at Stonington, New London, Little Compton and White Plains, New York.. Served under Maj. Thomas Noyes for Gen. Sullivan's expedition to Newport, Rhode Island in 1779. Drafted again in 1780 for two months at New London. At Fort Griswold after the attack on 6 Sep 1781.
