Debra Ann (Danek) Knox, 44, of Austin, formerly of Taylor, died Tuesday, October 17, 2006. Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be 2 p.m., Sunday, October 22, 2006, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Taylor. Burial to follow at Taylor City Cemetery. Debra was born on January 8, 1962, in Fort Worth, Texas, the daughter of Rudolph and Mamie (Meyer) Danek. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. She married Timothy Knox on March 23, 1989, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This marriage was blessed with the birth of their precious daughter, Brittany, age 7. Debra was a loving wife and mother who enjoyed being with her family. She had a wonderful sense of humor and loved softball and bowling. Preceding her in death were her father, Rudolph Danek, Jr.; and mother-in-law and father-in-law, Robert E. and Beverly Knox. She is survived by her loving husband of 17 years, Tim Knox, and daughter, Brittany Knox, both of Austin; her mother, Mamie Danek of Taylor; her brother, Duane Danek and wife, Arleen, of Taylor; sister-in-laws, Sandra Parker and husband, David, and Teresa Oxendine and husband, Johnny, all of Mims, Florida; nieces, Candace and Danielle Parker and Harley Oxendine; nephews, Kyle and Chase Danek and Hayden Oxendine; and great-niece, Kierra Jordyn Danek. Memorials may be given to St. Paul Lutheran Church, 401 West 7th, Taylor, Texas, 76574.
