Josephine Anne Griffin, 85, passed away on Wednesday, February 26, 2020. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Saturday, February 29, 2020 at Seymour Catholic Cemetery in Seymour, Texas. Arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors in Plainview, Texas. A visitation will be held 6:00-7:00 P.M. Friday, February 28, 2020 at Kornerstone. Josephine was born on March 7, 1934 to Joseph and Josephine (Hostas) Kasparek in Bomarton, Texas. She married Jimmy Ray Griffin on December 12, 1951. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband. Survivors include her daughters, Terry Godfrey and husband Danny, Jimmie Smith and husband Rick; her sons, Larry Griffin and wife of Susan, Billy Griffin and wife Kathy, all of Plainview; her brother, Jay Kasparek of Odessa; her sister, Jerry Peterson of Austin; six grandchildren, Larry Dean Griffin, II, LaTisha Lee Anne Roberts, Christopher Jared Griffin, Jimmy Carl Godrey, Cynnamonn Bylynne Fletcher, Jennifer DeLeon; six great grandchildren.
