Mildred Anita Dixon, a long time Houston resident, passed away at the age of 84 on February 23, 2020. Born in Moulton, Texas on August 23, 1935. She was preceded in death by Husband, HC Dixon, daughter Eunice Dixon, granddaughter Michelle Deweese, her parents August and Marie Fojtik, brother Wilber (Jack) Fojtik and sister Lorene Byrnes. She is survived by eight children, John Dixon and wife Robin, Cheryl Wheeler and husband Daniel, Barbara Mendel and husband Jessie, Glenda Deweese and husband Steven, Karen Holt and husband Steve, Lola Dixon, Pamela Garcia and husband Leo, and Donna Dixon; twenty grandchildren, Nicole, Jason, Amanda, Luke, Crystal, Shelley, Robert, Heather, Kristi, David, Douglas, Melissa, Cody, Michele, Sarah, Brandon, Kyle, Joseph, Joshua, and Samantha; forty-one great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren, brother Alfred Fotjik, sisters Marie Sanders, Margaret Garrett, Delores Scott (Ben), Carolyn Brogger (Elroy), Betty Maeker (Errol); numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends. The center of her life was her family who she cared for and provided with abundant love. She was a faithful member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church.
