Hood County News - 29 Mar 2008 A memorial service for Erna G "Jerrye" Cort, 85, of Rainbow, will be held there in the Rainbow Baptist Church at 2 pm Saturday, March 29, 2008. The longtime owner of a beauty shop in Benbrook died March 21, 2008. She was born in Colgate, Okla, Jan 3, 1923. She was a member of the Rainbow Baptist Church, the Red Hat Club and she and her husband were very active in AA. Memorials may be made to the Rainbow Baptist Church Building Fund or a charity of choice. Her husband, George Cort, parents, Mary and Bill Moss, sister, Louise Cockrell; brothers Wilborn Moss and U L Moss; granddaughter, Danielle Hulsey; and son-in-law Charles Hulsey preceded her in death. Survivors are a son and wife, Sonny Wiggins and wife, Debbie, of Fort Worth; two daughters, Barbara Jane Hulsey and Judy Vancine, and husband Robert Hulsey, all of Rainbow; 10 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, a great-great-granddaughter; two sisters, Adina Lamb and husband, Jerry of Glen Rose, and Billie Duckworth of Seminole.
