Adina Foncine Lamb, 79, of Glen Rose and formerly of Walnut Springs, passed away Christmas Day, Wednesday, Dec. 25, 2013, in Glen Rose. Memorial service: 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 4, at Walnut Springs Memorial United Methodist Church with Adam Hilliard officiating. Interment: Her ashes will be buried at a later date with those of her husband of 62 years in Oak Grove Cemetery in Walnut Springs. Adina Foncine Moss was born to William "Bill" and Mary Million Moss in Paluxy on April 30, 1934. She was raised in Walnut Springs. On June 30, 1951, she was united in marriage to Jerry Ross Lamb. The couple traveled the world during his Army career for 22 years. They had seven children. They moved back to Walnut Springs in 1971 and moved to Glen Rose in 2006. Adina was a homemaker most of her married life until she took a job at Walnut Springs School for 17 years. She was a member of Walnut Springs Memorial United Methodist Church. She will be remembered for her strong Christian faith and her loving and forgiving heart. Survivors: Husband, Jerry Lamb of Glen Rose; children, Larry Lamb of Glen Rose, Kerry Lamb and wife, Shanna, of Port Neches, Randy Lamb and wife, Jennifer, of Walnut Springs, Jerry Lamb and husband, Daniel Lamb, of San Antonio, Melanie Bybee and husband, Kelly, of Glen Rose and Kimberly Reynolds and husband, David, of Glen Rose; 15 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and sister, Billie Duckworth of Seminole.
