Lorene Connerley, 81, of Schuyler, died Wednesday, January 29, 2020, at CHI St. Elizabeth Hospital in Lincoln. Lorene was born June 7, 1938, in Schuyler to Richard and Irene (Mastny) Bohaty. She attended area schools and graduated from Schuyler High School. On June 22, 1957, she married H. Jerry Connerley at the First Presbyterian Church in Schuyler. They lived and farmed west of Schuyler where she raised their family and helped on the farm. Lorene was a life member of First Presbyterian Church and had served in various positions, including Deacon, over the years. She loved crossword puzzles, word search and listening to polka music. One of her favorite pastimes was spending time with the family at the Connerley sand pit. Lorene is survived by three daughters; Brenda (Michael) Price, Hutchinson, Kansas, Bev (Dan) Pensick, Columbus, Lisa (Brian) Price, Peyton, Colorado, one son, Jeff Connerley of Charleston, West Virginia, 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and two brothers, Ron (Connie) Bohaty, Schuyler and Randy Bohaty of Raymond. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Jerry in 1994, daughter, Barb DeBower in 2015, grandson Brian Keith, Jr. and three sisters; infant Barbara Lynn Bohaty, Kareda Davis and Marilyn Jones.
