Bio
Kareda J Davis passed away April 19, 2013 in Orange, CA after a tough yet brave struggle with cancer. Kareda was born on January 16, 1941 in Schuyler, NE to Irene M. (Mastny) Bohaty and Richard R. Bohaty. She moved to California in 1963 after receiving her teaching degree from Midland Lutheran College in Fremont, NE. She settled in Garden Grove, CA in 1977. Kareda educated young students for over 30 years in the Paramount CA School District. After her retirement, she enjoyed flower gardening, planting roses, and growing vegetables. She also spent time exploring the various antique malls and stores in Orange County. Kareda is survived by her two daughters, Jennifer (Davis) Christie of Sioux Falls, SD, Dina (Davis) Padilla, of Santa Ana, CA; five grandchildren, Joshua Christie, Zachary Christie, Elijah Padilla, Ofelia Padilla, Jaxson Padilla; sisters Lorene Connerly, Marilyn Jones and brothers Ron Bohaty, Randy Bohaty. Kareda is preceded in death by her parents, Irene and Richard Bohaty. Kareda will be laid to rest at Hills of Rest Cemetery on Monday April 29, 2013.
