Mattie Malone, 87 Homemaker LAKELAND Mrs. Mattie L. Malone of 141 Fornery Road died Tuesday (April 13, 1993) at Lakeland Regional Medical Center. She was 87. Born in Summerdale, on Feb. 17, 1906, she came to Lakeland from Alabama 60 years ago. She was a homemaker. She is survived by her son, Bill Malone, Brandon; daughters, Iris Duke, Lakeland, Juanita Mizell, Arcadia, and Betty Kueker, Waverly, Iowa; 12 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Ott-Laughlin Funeral Home, 645 W. Central Winter Haven. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Lakeside Memorial Park.
