Bio

Albin Steve Prachyl, 91, passed away on February 1, 2020. Burial will be at St. Joseph's Cemetery. Albin was born on October 24, 1928, in Boyce, Texas, to the late William A. Prachyl and Mary Vrana Prachyl. He farmed before entering the U.S. Army on January 5, 1951. Albin was schooled in plumbing and blacksmithing. During the Korean War, Albin was assigned to the Corp. of Engineers for the construction of the landing strips. Albin was honorably discharged on November 6, 1952. After returning home, he remained a farmer. He was preceded in death by his brother, Willie Prachyl. Survivors include his sisters, Mary Praslicka and Georgie Galetka; brothers: Wesley Prachyl and his wife, Dorothy, Jerry Prachyl and his wife, Irene, and Al Prachyl and his wife, Linda; other relatives and many friends.
