Bio

June Marie Baxter of Allen, Texas passed away on January 25, 2020 at the age of 87. She was born on September 18, 1932 to Henry O. Baxter and Vivian (Freeman) Baxter in McKinney, Texas. June proudly served her country in the United States Air Force. She enjoyed the outdoors, dogs, and babies. June also loved to dance to country western music. June is survived by her nephews, Asher Jacobs of Dallas, Texas and Ronald Baxter of Richardson, Texas; nieces, Tina Archibeque of Frisco, Texas, Tonya McLaughlin of Houston, Texas, and Linda Plum of Krum, Texas; her "adopted" nieces and nephew that so lovingly took care of her 24/7, Tiffany Walker-Butler and George and Trixie Flanagan, all of Allen, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Vivian Baxter; brother, Billie Baxter; and sister, Melba Kirkwood. A graveside service with military honors will be held at 10:30 a.m., Sunday, February 2, 2020 at Ridgeview Memorial Park, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013.
