Parents: Amelia Ann Reams 1828 to 1906 Jackson C Irvin 1826 to 1864 Atlanta, Ga NOTE: Mother of John Bruce Brooks and Lee Brooks. If you look at the census records for 1870, James first wife Jeanette is listed. She died sometime in 1872. And he married Priscilla in January 1873 and John Bruce was born in October 1873. I have a photo of John and on the back it lists John Bruce as Willie's son. So Aaron White Brooks and James Hillary Brooks are the sons of Jennett F Thompson and James A Brooks. NOTE: Edit name change 7 Sept 2011: I have changed Willie's name from: Willie P (Irvin) Brooks to Priscilla Willie (Irvin) Brooks. NOTE: For a marriage census at ancestry search " Iroin " Research of Father, Jackson C Irvin NOTE: I still can't find where Jackson C Irvin is buried. George Martin Wrote: wounded and captured July 22, 1864 near Atlanta, Georgia. If Jackson C Irvin was wounded and captured in July of 1864. Where would the Union have taken him.?
