Truman Scott Parker joined his beloved wife Shirley on August 5, 2012. Truman was born December 4, 1928 to Floyd and Maude (Cutter) Parker in Dupree, SD. Truman worked on the ranch for the first 30 years of his life, was an avid pilot and flew an airplane to school when he was 16. Truman enjoyed watching and participating in rodeos. He received an award for being The Oldest Cowboy, at the cowboy reunion in Deadwood in 2011. He was also a star basketball player in High School. Truman drove truck most of his adult life, hauling many different kinds of freight. Truman married his beloved lifelong dance partner Shirley Lester on June 2, 1976. They lived in Ft. Pierre until 2000 when they moved to Spearfish and then later to Belle Fourche. After Shirley's death in 2007, Truman moved in with Cameron and his daughter Kelly for awhile then returned to Ft. Pierre.
