Coeburn, VA ~ Frankie Mae Trivette Meade, 83 went to be with the Lord Tuesday, March 25, 2014 who fought a courageous battle of cancer with her family at her side at Mountain View Medical Center in Norton Virginia. She was an inspiration to everyone who met her. She was the daughter of the late Ollie Frances Trivette and Bessie Dooley Trivette; also predeceased in death by her husband, Calvin Coolidge Meade; infant daughter, Vickie Lynn Meade; daughter-in-law, Diane Gay Meade; Sister, Shirley Ann Meade; brother, Carson Trivette. Frankie is survived by daughters, Glenda Mayhew and husband, Les, Prince George, VA, Cathy Moore and husband, David, Hopewell, VA, Kimberly Meade, Pinehurst, NC and Tonya Maggard, and husband, Gary, Wise; sons, Billy Joe Meade, Coeburn and Steven "Butch" Meade, Wise; sisters, Frances Greear, Coeburn, and Pearl Sanders, Fort Blackmore, VA; brother-in-law, Marcus Ival Meade, Coeburn; Grandchilden, Nova Meade, Christopher Meade, Chelsea Meade, Brianna Meade, Kinsley and Kristen Maggard; great grandchildren, Savannah and Madison Laney; her beloved cats, Rose, Lucy and Redcat; several nieces and nephews and many friends. The family would like to say a special thanks to Southwest Virginia Cancer Center and Mountain View Regional Hospital. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to: PAWS of Southwest Virginia, P.O. Visitation for Frankie Mae Meade will be held on Friday, March 28, 2014 after 5:00 P.M. at Estes Funeral Home Chapel and Funeral services will be at 7:00 PM. Burial will be 11 AM Saturday, March 29, 2014 at Baker Cemetery. Arrangements by Estes Funeral Home, 114 High Ave., Coeburn, VA.
