son of Joseph Piwetz - Theresia Huyma Lorenz Piwetz, 73, died at the home of his son, Eddie Piwetz. Mr. Piwetz had been partially paralyzed since 1913. He was born on August 15, 1859, in Czechoslavakia but moved to America when he was less than two years of age. Mr. Piwetz was married to Anna Krenek, 10 January 1881, in Fayetteville, Texas. Eight children were born of the marriage, Mr. Piwetz has made his home in Stamford since 1924. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Paul Mosler of Seymour, assisted by Rev. H.M. Harris, at the home of his son, 610 E. Gould street, Thursday afternoon at 2:30. Burial was in Highland cemetery directed by Kinney Funeral Home. Surviving: four sons - R.J. Piwetz, Eddie Piwetz John Piwetz, Victor Piwetz; one daughter - Mrs. Julia Miller; 11 grandchildren. Pallbearers: John Pustejovsky, Frank Kutach, Joe Hilcher, Frank Musil, Otto Hinze, Frank Kainer.
