Stephen Compton "Pap" Hollis son of William Allen Hollis and Jane "Janie" Smith. husband of first unknown Indian and second Sarah Ann Sessions. Stephen and his first wife were the parents of my grandfather James Cornelious Hollis. my uncle WRC "Neal" Hollis in an interview before his death had said that Stephen Compton Hollis and family immigrated with his family from Ireland when he was 2 but I found that only to be family lore as he was born in Missouri.
