Bio
Beloved matriarch Bernice Wilson, 93, of Houston, Texas, passed away December 13th, 2019. Bernice was born in Antlers, Oklahoma on Wednesday, June 2nd, 1926, but spent most of her childhood in Hot Springs, Arkansas. She was married to Hollis Lloyd Wilson for 61 years, until his passing in 2006. Bernice’s calling was taking care of others. She thrived as a loving homemaker for her husband and daughters, hit her stride in spoiling her grandchildren, and dedicated many years of her life to looking after her aging loved ones. Bernice was a long-time member at Lindale Church of Christ and passionately gave to many charitable causes. She is survived by her daughters Dorothy Moreland and Debra King, their spouses, four grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. Funeral arrangements will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, December 19th, at Brookside Funeral Home and Memorial Park. Viewing is available at 1:00 PM. Brookside Funeral Home
