El Reno Tribune Wednesday, December 18, 2019 Memorial service to celebrate the life of James Lee Allen was held Tuesday, Dec. 17, 2019, in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev Dick Kurtz officiating. Mr. Allen passed away Dec. 12, 2019, in Oklahoma City. He was born to James R. Allen and Betty Lou McDonald Allen on June 6, 1949, at the El Reno Sanitarium. James graduated from El Reno High School. He spent many years working in the medical field as a EMT (Emergency Medical Technician) for Parkview Hospital. Later in his career he was employed by the city of El Reno at the water department. James enjoyed the simple things in life. He was a parrot head. He loved his outlaw country music and liked to listen to it at full blast. He loved classic cars and trucks and was an avid collector of old guns. He loved animals, especially dogs. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Betty Allen; sister, Karen Sue Allen; and brother, David L. Allen. He is survived by his partner of 14 years, Cindy Rodriguez; daughter, Amanda Ferrell and husband, Bruce of Bethany; son, Jeffrey Allen of El Reno; daughter, Elana Ford of Oklahoma City; daughter, Lavenia Jenkins and husband, Lee, and son, Antonio Allen, all of Tennessee; three granddaughters and four grandsons, all of Tennessee; sister, Betty Allen Perez of El Reno; and his beloved dog, Reese. _____________________________________ James Allen June 6, 1949 - December 12, 2019 Obituary for James Lee Allen James Lee Allen was born to James R.
