FRANK SPRTA, 86, passed away Friday, August 10, 2007. He was born October 25, 1920 in East Bernard, Texas. He was a member of KJT Society 1021, VFW 8930, and was a 3rd and 4th degree of the Knights of Columbus. He was preceded in death by his parents, Cyril and Annie Sprta; brother, Joe Sprta; and sister, Agnes Novak. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Annie Sprta; sisters, Annie Krajca of Pearland, TX, Frances Pilcik of Ganado, TX; brothers, Ernest Sprta of Dayton, Ohio, Rudolph Sprta of Ganado, TX; and numerous nieces and nephews. A Funeral Mass will be held at 1:00 pm Monday, August 13, 2007 at Sacred Heart Co-Cathedral 1111 Pierce with burial to follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, August 12, 2007 from 5:00 to 9:00 pm with a Rosary at 7:00 pm at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home. Published in Houston Chronicle on Aug. 12, 2007
